It's the guy from the wall.

Synopsis

Cliffjumper is very happy at an excuse to blast Skyfall, but before he can pull the trigger, another collapse sends both of them and Landquake tumbling into an underground chamber. They rise to find themselves facing some sort of strange ancient shrine, with a statue-like Transformer in its center. As Cliffjumper struggles to free his mangled leg from a huge boulder, Skyfall and Landquake approach each other, curious.

Cliffjumper isn't in a mood for happy introductions; he fires, only to have the blast bounce off of Skyfall's protective shield. A huge explosion follows, but nobody seems hurt. Skyfall tells Cliffjumper to knock it off, as they are sharing an "important moment". A new voice tells them that, indeed, this is a place of peace. The statue from the niche has come to life; he heals Cliffjumper's leg, as an astonished Landquake watches.

Laserbeak and Ravage burst into the room, firing, but are quickly driven off. Fearing that more Decepticons are on the way, Skyfall requests that they adjourn to somewhere else to discuss these strange events.

Quotes

"Who is that, Skyfall?"
"It's... uh, it's the guy from the wall."

Cliffjumper and Skyfall observe the new arrival.

"You're a heck of a healer, buddy, but you suck as a prophet."

Cliffjumper, as Breakaway's "place of peace" becomes a battlefield.

"Right. You sort of woke up into the middle of a war, which should be here, like in this room, soon."

Skyfall urges his companions to keep moving.

Errors

  • Landquake's internal narration box on page 2 is sitting on top of Skyfall, making it look misattributed. It's especially confusing since Landquake refers to Skyfall himself ("this Autobot") in the thought.
  • On page 4, panel 3, the speech bubble placement makes it appear that Skyfall replies to Landquake's comment before he actually says it.
  • Breakaway's introductory speech balloon in the next-to-last panel isn't quite pointing at him.
  • A general dearth of commas makes some of the dialogue less clear than it should be.
