Female Autobots
The historical tales feature a young Kup alongside mostly characters who never appeared in the cartoon. So far, this has allowed the writers to avoid problems of relative age, since Kup is supposed to be significantly older than almost everyone in the present day. And the only familiar characters in that early timeframe are either also old or have an excuse.
What about the Female Autobots? "Flames of Yesterday" features the orange/purple and green elf ladies, and also Moonracer, the youngest-seeming Female Autobot, is also out and about. (Moonracer's bio tries to deal with this by saying that there was an accident during an upgrade so she acts like a teenager.) I am not sure how to rewrite this paragraph to accommodate them, since there are so many exceptions presented already to the "rule" given in it. --ItsWalky 10:35, 31 May 2010 (EDT)
- It also makes zero mention of the fact that (so far, anyway) this is a very Elite Guard-centric set of stories, not just pre-war stories in general.
- (Although thanks for creating the sucker... I'd been thinking we needed it for a while now but wasn't quite sure how to go about it.) --Jeysie 10:47, 31 May 2010 (EDT)
- No problem. I do wonder if Wings of Honor deserves a franchise and toyline page (in which case this page might get folded into the franchise page or become "Wings of Honor (fiction)"), but at the moment I'm comfortable leaving it be. We'll see what happens with G2 Redux and beyond. - Jackpot 20:08, 1 June 2010 (EDT)
Shuttle scene
And as far as the shuttle scene from Timelines #4, didn't Pete say at some point that it was set in 2009 or 2010? And I think I remember him placing it somewhere around the Nexus Prime scene from TCSp1... --ItsWalky 11:15, 31 May 2010 (EDT)

- Thanks for digging that up. So, as far as creator intent goes, it's firmly in the 'Toon continuity, and the shuttle scene is just coincidentally strikingly similar to one that went before. There is precedent to that; in Marvel, the Predacon attack on Optimus in the UK, then Megatron in the US, for instance.--Jimsorenson 11:26, 31 May 2010 (EDT)
