Manufacturing error

There's a dead link in this article. What is a manufacturing error and how is it different from a misassembly (which supposedly is something different), and from a design flaw as well?--Nevermore 09:12, 18 September 2010 (EDT)

Misassembly is putting things together wrongly, a design flaw is inherent in the mold, and a manufacturing error is an accidental malformation of the product. If an insufficient amount of plastic enters the mold, leaving a shriveled stump of a part, that would be a manufacturing error. Usually such substandard parts would be discarded, but occasionally one sneaks through. Hope this helps. --Khajidha 09:35, 18 September 2010 (EDT)
