James Michael Reaves (born September 14, 1950) is an American writer. In addition to Transformers, he has also written for damn near every action cartoon on TV. Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends, Dungeons & Dragons, Spiral Zone, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Gargoyles, Batman: The Animated Series...

Most prominently, he wrote the theatrically-released Batman: Mask of the Phantasm.
