The name or term "Hook" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Hook (disambiguation).
Hook is a Decepticon from the Revenge of the Fallen portion of the live-action film continuity family.
If you have feelings you not hate me.

Hook transforms into a gigantic truss crane. When combined with his fellow Constructicons, he forms the left arm of Devastator.

Revenge of the Fallen

  • EZ Collection Devastator - G1 Colors Version (Legends, 2010)
Takara reissued the seven Legend class Constructicons in G1 inspired green and purple color schemes. "Decepticon Hook" is a redeco of Hightower.

Notes

  • The first, movie-colored EZ Devastator shares all names with the Hasbro version. For this Generation 1-inspired redeco, TakaraTomy decided to rename two of the Constructicons who sported different names than their G1 counterparts, thus creating two new Constructicons: The name "Bonecrusher" had already been used by an on-screen character from the 2007 movie and his toys, thus prompting Hasbro and Paramount to avoid reusing the name and call the Revenge of the Fallen Constructicon Rampage instead; TakaraTomy then renamed the G1-inspired redeco of EZ Collection Rampage into Bonecrusher. Meanwhile, the name "Hook" had simply been unavailable to Hasbro for trademark reasons, hence the Revenge of the Fallen Constructicon was named Hightower. Again, TakaraTomy decided to use his Generation 1 counterpart's name for the redeco; but instead of using his Japanese G1 name, "Gren", TakaraTomy decided to maintain the general trend of their live-action movie-affiliated toy lines, which have all toys sport their Hasbro or Hasbro-derived names, thus naming him "Hook"; or, more precisely, "Decepticon Hook" for trademark reasons.
