Bay confirms a proposed release date of July 1, 2011.[4]

But it does say in the message that he'll tell lies...

Micheal Bay and Lorenzo diBonaventura take some of the blame for the criticisms aimed at Revenge of the Fallen and acknowledge the problems the film had. Bay reveals that they will be getting rid of what he referred to as the "dorky comedy" seen in Revenge of the Fallen, and reiterates that the Twins were "basically gone", though John Turturro will return as comic relief. Additionally, the film will explore the Transformers' role in the space race and will be filmed in 3D.[17]
