A cy-gar is a Cybertronian device from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Clearly, it's Outback's thumb.

A cy-gar is a device used to deliver a dose of its contents to a Cybertronian through the mouth. Millions of cycles ago, they were used to deliver a poison willingly consumed by the user because of some perceived benefit.

To suppress Kup's flashbacks of slagging everyone on the planet with the crystals, Kup was given a cy-gar that fed him a synthetic version of the planet's crystal energy. Perceptor, who helped develop the special cy-gar, was assigned to Kup's unit with a supply of cy-gars to provide to Kup when needed. Everything in Its Right Place

Notes

• Kup was introduced in All Hail Megatron chomping on a cigar-like object as a form of humanizing. This caused significant enough fan commentary that Shane McCarthy belatedly hung a lampshade on it. Nevertheless, an in-fiction explanation was later retconed for it by Nick Roche in the All Hail Megatron Coda.
• In an amazing coincidence, the cy-gar has a name that sounds extremely similar to an oral poison delivery device used by humans.
