Over-Run shares his fears with a certain person while Alpha Quintesson continues his attack on Earth.

Synopsis

Six months after the massive Terrorcon attack against the Earth, the Autobots continue their efforts to defend the planet, now protected by a global energy shield, from attacks by both the reborn Megatron, and Alpha Quintesson's newest Terrorcon general, Doom-Lock. Optimus Prime remains lost, trapped within the body of Unicron, forcing the Autobots to construct new, more powerful soldiers, beginning with Omega Supreme.

Kicker, meanwhile, after his recent surge in power, is being actively trained in the use of his new abilities by Alterenergy, in hopes of better understanding them, and why the Terrorcons want Kicker so badly. Kicker, however, is less than interested in jumping through hoops, and abandons his training. Attempting to hit the road, he flags down a passing truck... which turns out to be Demolishor!

As these events play out, Over-Run taps into the Hub, the vast planetary consciousness of Cybertron, in search of enlightenment. His efforts are rewarded with a vision: he sees the destruction of Alpha Quintesson's homeworld, Quintessa, by Unicron, thousands of years ago, and watches as the alien scientists rushes to save himself. He carries a device known as the "Initiator", and calls for the "Conduit" to be brought to him, only for it to be destroyed in the chaos. As Alpha Quintesson's ship is pulled back into Unicron's maw, he teleports the Initiator away, to... someone. Unable to process all the information, Over-Run is led to believe that Alpha Quintesson has somehow "seeded" Cybertron, before time suddenly races ahead, and Over-Run finds himself witnessing the future. The Initiator is launched from Cybertron... a portal opens... and Quintesson ships emerge and assault Cybertron! All this information leads him to the disturbing conclusion that someone on Cybertron is a traitor... and he confides this fact to Councillor Avalon, Alpha Quintesson's secret collaborator and the very traitor Over-Run fears!

Characters are ordered as mentioned in Furman's outline.
