I'd like to see some sort of note in here abotu the timelien oddies, typticon onliek for Scramble City & the Mangs (which eas set ostensibly inc artoon contiuity) but first in 2006/2010 in the actual series. Zone Deaths
I had removed the references to Trypticon dying post-Headmasters because I don't know that we have a concrete source saying that the members of the Destron 9 Dai Mashougun were actually dead. I mean, we thought Metrotitan was a zombie Metroplex for the longest time, and that turned out to be false. The odds of these nine guys all dying off-screen just to be brought back to life again feels... off.
(Black Zarak I'll grant for certain as dead, and maybe King Poseidon as I don't know what happens to Turtler in MF.)
Unless we can have specific reference to them all being resurrected by Violen Jyger (Jaeger/Jiger/whatnot), I'd say leave it out.

Hmmm...maybe it's just my computer? It's weird, 250 screws it up but 200 or 300 it's fine.
As for the deaths, the Destron Generals were usually refered as the "9 Resurrected Destron Demon-Generals", implying that they were all brought back to life. I'll cut that part back out and rewatch Zone and see if that part was subtitled correctly or not.--DrSpengler 23:08, 5 July 2006 (UTC)

Many thanks. "Kyuu Daimashou-gun" literally translates to "9 Great Demonic Warriors". That leaves me to guess that the use of the word "demonic" and the presence of dead Decepticons like Black Zarak are what pointed people in the direction of them ALL being resurrected. But still, I guess that's not really enough to go on. Maybe add a footnote?--DrSpengler 23:50, 5 July 2006 (UTC)
- Hmm. That's a mildly different interpretation than I had been going on... a friend of mine thought that "mashougun" was a pun combining mashou (demonic/devillish/etc) with shougun ("general"), which is why I had been hyphenating it "Demon-Generals".
- (To be honest, I'm not actually sure if Japanese puns work that way, and I don't think he's as Japanese-literate as you are.)
- Still, the base idea is the same in either translation, right?
- Given Violen Jyger's origin as "the conglomeration of a bunch of angry Destron souls" (see here), it's not out of the question that he'd have the ability to raise the dead - heck, clearly he HAS that power, given Black Zarak.
- I haven't looked at the current Trypticon profile to see the recent changes, but I think a vague "Trypticon may or may not have been killed under unknown circumstances and subsequentially revived" could work - or just ignore that particular facet and say that he was next seen working for Big Bug V until we get something more solid. --Monzo 00:24, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

Hmmm. That "Mashougun" gag actually went over my head, there. The definately DOES work, and I doubt it's a coincidence. But I guess whether they're "Demonic Generals" or "Demonic Warriors" doesn't really matter. Personally, I like "Generals" better. Also, I added a stub for Violen Jygar. Haven't written the fiction summary yet, so I'll be sure to add that tid bit abut him being the cumulation of angry Decepticon Sparks (didn't know that until now). As Jackpot asked about this in the latest edit summary: "Five Face of Darkness" is still in 2005, and consulting the Cybertron Chronicle shows that the first occurrence of the "Historical Trailer" stating that "Now it is the year 2006" was with "Starscream's Ghost," the tenth aired episode of the season, well before "Big Broadcast," which was twentieth. -KilMichaelMcC 02:02, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Trypticon
actually on the main page it states that the G1 Trypticon toy has NEVER been available to buy in the UK but that's WRONG!!!! coz during the mid to late 80's in a shop called WHAT EVERYONE WANTS in GLASGOW! i bought my G1 Trypticon toy there & still have him to this day!(although i've since lost his side ramps!)but he's still a good toy & i'm lucky to have him!
