Toy Image Joke

"That's the second biggest Decepticon insignia i've ever seen!"

Could the author enlighten us as to which was the largest by turning "biggest" into a link? Drmick 11:07, 8 June 2009 (EDT)

This one, maybe? - Starfield 11:16, 8 June 2009 (EDT)
I think between that, and Astrotrain, and Dropkick, the joke pretty much fails. -- Repowers 11:51, 8 June 2009 (EDT)
Yep! Though I think the joke starts working again if we can get it up to "That's the fifteenth biggest Decepticon insignia I've ever seen!" So let's get crackin'. --ItsWalky 12:00, 8 June 2009 (EDT)
Perhaps we should change the caption to "I've seen bigger Decepticon insignias" with links to toys with larger ones. - Zadok Rox 12:20, 8 June 2009 (EDT)
*pulls out sarcasm-o-meter* ...I'm sitting here trying to figure out how many of the people in this discussion actually did or didn't get the reference. --Jeysie 12:43, 8 June 2009 (EDT)

Category: Giant insignia? -Derik 12:40, 8 June 2009 (EDT)

Seconded :) 212.74.27.55 09:24, 11 June 2009 (EDT)

Beast Wars Reference?

Perhaps I am in folly here, but during the final battle, right after he shields himself from enemy fire and before Jetfire Slaughters him, he seems to pull a triple-barreled cannon from his nethers, which he fires once. It might be just me, but the image really made me think of Beast Wars Rampage. Does this qualiffy as trivia? Mischa 06:10, 3 July 2009 (EDT)

No, not at all. And Barricade wasn't in ROTF at all. --FFN 06:25, 3 July 2009 (EDT)

he said rampage not barricade you wazzock

Misassembled

I actually got the cab-hinge working without having to flip any pieces, but has anyone tried swapping the figure's hips? They look like they should be on the opposite legs--that'd put the "finished" parts forward, hide the screw holes, and may even improve the range of motion. Is this worth adding to the article? 68.38.201.101 16:19, 3 July 2009 (EDT)

It's just the stock photography that shows the legs that way: it's not really clear, but steps 14, 15 and 16 in the instructions show you the proper way to work the hips. I would be interested in hearing how you fixed the cab without switching anything, though. --Buttbutt 18:01, 3 July 2009 (EDT)
How exactly do you drive the pin out?24.89.74.34 13:58, 9 July 2009 (EDT)
Okay, this whole misassembly thing has been questioned on at least one toy review website who didn't have any problems whatsoever. Is it actually true or not? Normally, if it had been one of our staff members who wrote... well, I'd question it anyway, but this time it's somebody who doesn't often edit on the wiki who asserts this. --FFN 08:34, 14 July 2009 (EDT)

It's actually the instructions that are wrong about the cab's shaft being partially misassembled. If you bend the shaft so the cab's hinged tab can go into the gun, you'll notice the slot is perfectly angled for that. Also, according to the instructions, the shaft is a LOT less hidden.

Voyager toy

Am i the only one here who thinks the entire thing is just noting the toys many flows without actually talking about it?--Sunjumper 09:39, 14 July 2009 (EDT)
Yeah, that's just a LITTLE BIT OVERKILL. Jesus, just say where he's misassembled. Can anyone more familiar with the toy cut that down to a sentence or two? --ItsWalky 10:12, 14 July 2009 (EDT)
As I've said above, a toy review site questioned our assertion in this article (and apparently our Myspace thing which I can't access) that Mixmaster is misassembled. --FFN 09:40, 15 July 2009 (EDT)
Can't someone add more info about the actual toy instead of the ranting about the messed up stuff? 220.134.30.107 21:38, 17 July 2009 (EDT)
Evidently nobody here who owns it cares to talk about the actual toy, and the only person to wrote about the toy only did so to complain about it. Since nobody has given me a good explanation about the whole misassembly thing, I'm ditching the lot of it. --FFN 13:55, 18 July 2009 (EDT)
I own him! Too lazy to actually write about it, though, beyond the review I did for TFViews, and oh God I'm not logged in, well, it's Onslaught Six, anyway. 71.60.161.100 11:56, 20 July 2009 (EDT)

The toy isn't miss assembled in most cases. The instructions are wrong, just like they were for Voyager Star Scream, concerning the hinged hands and guns.

Main Image

What would you put as a main image for the page?

second biggest?

Not that i don't appreciate a good Monkey Island homage from time to time, but with all those links in that text, isn't it kinda conflicting with the word "second"? --86.87.28.191 17:13, 28 July 2009 (EDT)

Autobot Mixmaster?

Okay, so in this image from Ben Procter, the early head design is made to resemble an actor. Looks to be Brendan Gleeson. Anyone ever hear any rumbles of him being cast for ROTF? Also, note the Autobot symbol on the concept art. Explains the "friendlier" face with the nose and big eyes.--MCRG Again 01:16, 18 September 2009 (EDT)

Scratch that. It IS Brendan Gleeson. Huh.--MCRG Again 01:17, 18 September 2009 (EDT)

"Listen UP"

Mixmaster actually says listen up, it's just very garbled. 69.230.74.60 00:25, 6 February 2010 (EST)

Yes, he does. I wonder if it was a voice acotr?--24.69.64.254 19:50, 24 February 2010 (EST)
Well mixmaster was originally listed as mike patton being his voice. It's possible they cut out his lines, but forgot this one--24.69.64.254 23:30, 20 August 2010 (EDT)
