Adorable saucer-kun comes from Mars. He is cute, and bumbling and earnest, and his arrival brings death. Pardon; adorable death.

Beast Wars II cartoon
As the artificial planet Nemesis approached Mars, the adorable flying saucer emerged from a step-pyramid and beelined it for Gaea. It was initially mistaken as a shooting star by Artemis, who made a wish upon it. (For death?) The Maximals detected the saucer's approach and came to inspect its crater-line landing site, where NAVI-chan had a close encounter of the squeedorable kind, circling flirtatiously with their alien visitor while communicating with a series of beeps and tones. Apache could barely contain his nausea. NAVI-chan informed the Maximals it wanted to be taken to the Master Computer, but they were shortly attacked by the nasty Predacons, who grabbed the saucer and used it for an impromptu round of pickle-in-the-middle until Skywarp rescued it.
The saucer caused a seeming rockfall to slide aside, revealing a passageway to the Master Computer's subterranean dwelling. It signaled the Master Computer with the data on the oncoming threat, and then interfaced, projecting a brief history of the former residents of Gaea and how they came to leave this world. The saucer then merged with the Master Computer and began a failsafe program designed to crash the Moon into Gaea. Emissary of the Fourth Planet
With the help of Galvatron, the Maximals were able to break through the Master Computer's defenses, allowing NAVI-chan to enter the computer and confront the saucer—now interfaced with the computer's core. She engaged it in a vigorous round of furious beeping, eventually convincing it to cancel the program sending the Moon crashing down on the planet. The saucer seemingly stayed within the Master Computer, which was buried when the Galvaburg II subsequently bombed the site. The Crisis of Planet Gaea
Notes
- The adorable flying saucer is based on the same George Adamski UFO design as the Generation 1 Autobot Cosmos. Adamski's saucer was supposedly Venusian rather than Martian.
