Talk:Design flaw
What was the cause for Binaltech Prowl's side mirrors being prone to beaking off again? Clear plastic? Bad glue?--Nevermore 10:58, 16 September 2010 (EDT)
Eventually, if more people confirm it (besides LV and myself), PCC Mudslinger's thighs are REALLY flimsy and probably worth mentioning. -hx 11:28, 16 September 2010 (EDT)
Manufacturing error
There's a dead link in this article. What is a manufacturing error and how is it different from a misassembly (which supposedly is something different), and from a design flaw as well?--Nevermore 09:12, 18 September 2010 (EDT)
- Misassembly is putting things together wrongly, a design flaw is inherent in the mold, and a manufacturing error is an accidental malformation of the product. If an insufficient amount of plastic enters the mold, leaving a shriveled stump of a part, that would be a manufacturing error. Usually such substandard parts would be discarded, but occasionally one sneaks through. Hope this helps. --Khajidha 09:35, 18 September 2010 (EDT)
- So that would be something that's discussed under quality control, right? Just trying to figure out if there's atually a purpose for a separate "manufacturing error" article, or if the links could point to existing articles instead.--Nevermore 09:44, 18 September 2010 (EDT)
BW Drill Bit
This is a classic. The pegs that are supposed to connect the critter legs to the inside of the critter shell in beast mode were designed backwards. So they don't peg into anything. -hx 21:25, 19 September 2010 (EDT)
- Is that a misassembly or a design flaw?--Nevermore 16:23, 14 October 2010 (EDT)
- Design flaw; the pegs don't point backward so much as in the completely wrong direction. It's a big flaw, too, as the misdirected pegs interfere with transformation. --Salt-Man Z 16:56, 25 July 2011 (EDT)
- Also that lying Hasbro liar at BC97 totally lied and said there was nothing wrong with him and I was transforming him wrong! I'm pretty sure being told "you can't figure out Drill Bit" is one of the most insulting things you can say to a man. -LV 18:55, 25 July 2011 (EDT)
