Buzzer-Bot
- Buzzer-Bot is a Go-Bot from the Go-Bots portion of the of the Go-Bots continuity family.
Buzzer-Bot is the "most clever" of the Go-Bots. What this says about the average I.Q. of Go-Bots in general is unknown.
Generally, Buzzer-Bot acts as backup for other Go-Bots operating on Earth, manning the scanners in the Go-Pod and alerting them to the various dangers they face. He does occasionally go out in the field, using his flying ability responsibly to help others.

Buzzer-Bot was chosen by the Go-Bot Council as "the most clever" of the available Go-Bots to join the Earth's Go-Bot Team on their mission to help Earth. During Silver-Bot's rampage near a tropical island, Buzzer-Bot and Beast-Bot monitored the clean-up efforts from the Go-Pod. Typhoon Twister He and Strong-Bot likewise stayed behind when Mototron broke an oil pipeline, and both failed to notice that Kid-Bot and Gas-Bot were missing until they turned up hiding in Speed-Bot's trunk. He finally got to go on a mission when Reptron began causing havoc in the jungle. He and Aero-Bot constructed a dam to protect a village from flooding created by the rogue Go-Bot. The pair also worked to restore the collapsing ruins that were damaged as a result of Reptron's race against Beast-Bot. Reptron's Rampage For their sterling work, Buzzer-Bot and the rest of the Go-Bot Protectors were presented with Go-Shields by the Go-Bot Council. They didn't have long to enjoy their moment of glory, as news came in that Racer-Bot ALPHA and Racer-Bot BETA had gone rogue. Buzzer-Bot was always rushing around to help people, and is known as an expert at solving the most difficult problems firmly and fairly. Any disagreements between the Gobots got solved by him! Buzzer-Bot (2004)
Unfortunately he was unable to fly except in wasp form. Initially, he could only transform if you helped him. Buzzer-Bot (2002) Later he switched to a bike mode, using that and his keen eyesight to be the first to be aware of and respond to trouble. - Part of the Wave 1 animal assortment, Buzzer-Bot transforms into a wasp. He was available by himself, or in a K-Mart exclusive 2-pack with Aero-Bot II.
- Buzzer-Bot (2003)
- Part of the Wave 2 "Botropolis" assortment, this speedy ground-based Buzzer-Bot transforms into a motorcycle.
- This mold was also used to make Cop-Bot.
- Buzzer-Bot (2004)
- Part of the Wave 3 "Glowbots" assortment. This version is a retool of the original Buzzer-Bot, transforming into a wasp, but this time with a light-up butt (insinuating that he might actually change into a firefly now).
- Buzzer-Bot Convertible (2004)
- Part of the Wave 4 "Secret Shield" assortment, this incarnation of Buzzer-Bot transforms into a convertible sports car.
Notes
- Buzzer-Bot seems to be a slight homage to Beast Wars Waspinator. Normally, it'd be a pretty tenuous homage, but then they went and made a Buzzer-Bot who turns into a motorcycle... just as Waspinator's spark was used to power the motorcycle Vehicon general Thrust in Beast Machines. Could still be a coincidence, granted, but....
- Then again, Waspinator wanted to name the Predacon ship "Buzzer-Bot," but he lost the fight to "Beak-Bot." Curiously, Megatron appears to prefer Buzzer-Bot to Darksyde. Dawn of Future's Past
- In the Go-Bots cartoon, Buzzer-Bot's speech is accompanied by a series of electronic beeps. He's the only Go-Bot they do this with.
