Talk:Sacred treasure

I notice the Omega Lock and Cyber Planet Keys haven't been mentioned, as sacred implements or even "potential" ones. However, while it may not be mentioned in WOTF (I gather) it's got a great deal in common with them. It's the life-force of Primus like the Creation Matrix, it was used for cyberforming, can grant upgrades or restore critically damaged bots... we've not seen it turn inanimate machines into living ones, but that's about the only thing it hasn't done that the items on this list can do. When the lock and keys are all together, what you get is the AllSpark under a different name. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.245.91.183 (talkcontribs) 22:25, 15 August 2010 (EDT).

I'd say you are right that they could be counted as potential implements. - Starfield 23:57, 15 August 2010 (EDT)

About the Matrix Flame, the "Sacred implement" thing is Japanese, right? I would expect something from UK Marvel comics to be included. - Starfield 23:57, 15 August 2010 (EDT)

Move

"God Item" sounds stupid. Also, can you please post that you're putting up move proposals on the Talk page so people who don't check every non-discussion-related edit to pages might catch them? -LV 13:21, 18 August 2011 (EDT)

For what it's worth, Google translate renders it as "sacred treasures". --Khajidha 13:37, 18 August 2011 (EDT)
It's used to refer to the Imperial Regalia of Japan, which is where the "sacred treasures" thing comes from. The kanji themselves literally mean "god" and "device/vessel". This term is not used anywhere other than a now-deleted website, so I see little issue with sticking with its official (if subjectively stupid-sounding) translation in place of a contrived term Derik came up with. —Interrobang 14:20, 18 August 2011 (EDT)
...I came up with "God Item?" Was I drunk at the time? That's terrible! -Derik 02:54, 12 October 2011 (EDT)

Artifacts of the Primes

So should all the sacred artifacts of the Primes introduced in Exiles go here or on a seperate page? --76.28.76.206 07:25, 12 October 2011 (EDT)

Unless it's been specifically identified as a sacred implement/god item, it shouldn't be here. —Interrobang 07:31, 12 October 2011 (EDT)
