"Sadly, Galen's first view of view was also his last." Could someone rephrase that so it makes sense? 68.190.81.14 20:45, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

Much of the entry for Fort Max's Marvel section don't involve Fort Max much at all, and reads more like an extended summary of the first Headmasters comic issue. This should definitely be pared down. --ItsWalky 20:40, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

Personally, I think it looks fine. After all, most of Fortress Maximus's character development was in the Headmasters mini-series, so naturally most of the info on the page would come from there. - Dark T Zeratul 21:18, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
The CURRENT entry in his Marvel Comics section is fine. The old entry on the wrong page, which is now at Ring of Hate!, is more of a page-by-page summary of the comic, and not a good Fortress Maximus Marvel Comics entry, as it digresses too much into things other characters are doing. --ItsWalky 21:26, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
Ah, OK. Gotcha. - Dark T Zeratul 21:33, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

Too many Personalities.

The opening paragraph here, which is supposed to be continuity free, really only applies to Marvel comic (and maybe DW a little) Fort Max. As he has several distinct incarnations: Mindless Big-Smashy-thing (Cartoon), Warrior for Peace (Comic) and Confident starship commander and super-hero (Japanese. Should he not get an abbreviated first paragraph and one of those "He different in different places" notes like Blaster and Chromedome have? Yes?

I think all versions of Fort Max, in some way, 'checked out' out the war. Marverl left for Nebulos, Dreamwave shut down, Headmasters led a colony to leave the war-town Cybertron... that's the constant core for Fort Max's character in all continuities- he's a cut-and-run Democrat.-Derik 16:32, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

"Impenetrable fortress"

I'm a bit puzzled by the description of Fort Max's toy. Here are his US instructions - there's no mention an "impenetrable fortress" mode, and the "battle station" mode they describe is how he appeared in starship mode in the Headmasters anime. Did the Japanese instructions present a different transformation for the starship that the cartoon didn't use, or something? - Chris McFeely 19:47, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

Japanese names

I'm wanting to add a note that in Japan, the "Spike" figure was renamed "Cerebros", but don't know where to put it.

Also, can somebody who can read Japanese tell me if the specs have the Headmaster partners as the actual Transformer or a partner? I ask because in the Japanese boxes and instructions, the headmaster figures have the same names (or close enough) as the Hasbro releases.

Optimus Prime. For reals.

Uh, yea the Headmaster's names are just wierd like that, some are changed to shortened versions of their Transecter's names but not all.

  • Spike=Cerebros
  • Stylor=Chrome
  • Duros=Ros
  • Gort=Gorter
  • Arcana=Carna
  • Lord Zarak=Scorponok
  • Grax=Grax
  • Monzo=Monzo
  • Vorath=Vorath
  • Spasma=Spasma
  • Krunk=Krunk

IIRC When they weren't Bonded with their Transector in the Cartoon, they still went by it's name instead of their own, but I'm to 100% sure.

"Crackhead"?

I personally think the word "crackhead" used on this page and others is overly harsh. Am I free to remove it? JW 21:30, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

I guess I'm not opposed to the idea, but how is it overly harsh? You've seen these dubs, right? Chip 21:39, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
I think it's wierd and awkward english. Elsewhere we call it the 'Cracked-out' Maylay dub, not the Crackhead Maylay dub. I'm changing it to reflect that. -Derik 22:06, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
No, I haven't seen them, but [shrug] it still seems kinda hostile. JW 01:25, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
Well, are you willing to go through and remove EVERY "Crackhead Maylay" reference on the Headmasters, Masterforce, Victory, and Zone character? 'Cause its not like the word is just used on Fort Max.--Xaaron 23:38, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
"Crackhead" only appears in 15 places in the wiki. Wouldn't take long to remove or rephrase. (But I want to get some kind of consensus first.) JW 01:25, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
I agree that "crackhead" is probably not such a good term to be using to describe that. Better to change it to something else. --KilMichaelMcC 02:08, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Terminally insane? Completely whacked-out? Just spitballing.--Chiasaur11

How does Kil feel about 'cracked-out'? (I wasn't aware anyone was using Crackhead for the RTM dub) -Derik 02:14, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Things that connect

Shouldn't we list which robots can connect to Fort Max, like Motormaster or Megabolt?KrytenKoro 17:47, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Really ODD redirects?

"Fullstrength Motleypuss" and "Forktongue Maxiface"?! --Lonegamer78 23:09, 8 November 2009 (EST)

Man, what were they drinking back then? I want some. Thanks, Jeysie. --Lonegamer78 23:42, 8 November 2009 (EST)
Welcome! I always love how much weird crap there is in Transformers canon. --Jeysie 23:47, 8 November 2009 (EST)

UK Release?

I remember reading somewhere a long time ago (possibly on one of Rob Jung's list) that Fort Max was released in the UK in a very limited fashion - somewhere between 5 and 15 at either Hamley's or Harrods. Was there any truth to this, does anyone know? And if it is verified, is it worth a mention? It might also explain why he's strangely absent from Worlds Apart. Street Heat 10:14, 2 November 2011 (EDT)
