Much of the entry for Fort Max's Marvel section don't involve Fort Max much at all, and reads more like an extended summary of the first Headmasters comic issue. This should definitely be pared down. --ItsWalky 20:40, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

Personally, I think it looks fine. After all, most of Fortress Maximus's character development was in the Headmasters mini-series, so naturally most of the info on the page would come from there. - Dark T Zeratul 21:18, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

The CURRENT entry in his Marvel Comics section is fine. The old entry on the wrong page, which is now at Ring of Hate!, is more of a page-by-page summary of the comic, and not a good Fortress Maximus Marvel Comics entry, as it digresses too much into things other characters are doing. --ItsWalky 21:26, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

Too many Personalities.

The opening paragraph here, which is supposed to be continuity free, really only applies to Marvel comic (and maybe DW a little) Fort Max. As he has several distinct incarnations: Mindless Big-Smashy-thing (Cartoon), Warrior for Peace (Comic) and Confident starship commander and super-hero (Japanese. Should he not get an abbreviated first paragraph and one of those "He different in different places" notes like Blaster and Chromedome have? Yes?

I think all versions of Fort Max, in some way, 'checked out' out the war. Marverl left for Nebulos, Dreamwave shut down, Headmasters led a colony to leave the war-town Cybertron... that's the constant core for Fort Max's character in all continuities- he's a cut-and-run Democrat.-Derik 16:32, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

"Impenetrable fortress"

I'm a bit puzzled by the description of Fort Max's toy. Here are his US instructions - there's no mention an "impenetrable fortress" mode, and the "battle station" mode they describe is how he appeared in starship mode in the Headmasters anime. Japanese names

I'm wanting to add a note that in Japan, the "Spike" figure was renamed "Cerebros", but don't know where to put it.

Also, can somebody who can read Japanese tell me if the specs have the Headmaster partners as the actual Transformer or a partner? I ask because in the Japanese boxes and instructions, the headmaster figures have the same names (or close enough) as the Hasbro releases.

Uh, yea the Headmaster's names are just wierd like that, some are changed to shortened versions of their Transecter's names but not all.

IIRC When they weren't Bonded with their Transector in the Cartoon, they still went by it's name instead of their own, but I'm to 100% sure.

I think it's wierd and awkward english. Elsewhere we call it the 'Cracked-out' Maylay dub, not the Crackhead Maylay dub. I'm changing it to reflect that. -Derik 22:06, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

UK Release?

I remember reading somewhere a long time ago (possibly on one of Rob Jung's list) that Fort Max was released in the UK in a very limited fashion - somewhere between 5 and 15 at either Hamley's or Harrods. Was there any truth to this, does anyone know? And if it is verified, is it worth a mention? It might also explain why he's strangely absent from Worlds Apart. I definitely remember seeing him in Hamley's in early 1994 (and I suspect I'm the source for the list but remember nothing about being super limited) with one out of the box for kids to play with and pester their parents. But that was years later and part of the G2 display. Others have the same memory. [1] [2]

As for Worlds Apart, Furman has since said in interviews that it was one of the few times Hasbro UK got their act together and specifically requested certain characters so it's probable that he had a specific list of who needed advertising. Super-God Masterforce cartoon

The disputed character

I'm pretty sure the character pictured and described under Super-God Masterforce cartoon was supposed to be Grand Maximus. He has a blue tint to his face that Fortress didn't have. I can check the ending credits for verification if requested. Evan1975 15:29, 6 April 2013 (EDT)
