The Transformers: Prime toyline hits shelves in November, 2011[1]. Beforehand, there had been much doubt as to whether there would be a toyline, partially because of the complex CG designs, and Hasbro considered releasing Optimus, Bumblebee and Starscream in the Generations line before deciding the show warranted its own label. The first few waves released bear a "First Edition" label, with upcoming toys in 2012 bearing a "Robots in Disguise" subtitle. [2]
