Esso garage is a small gas-and-repair station catering to truckers.
MF ep 10 When Ginrai's truck breaks down, he stops at a garage distinguishable only by its classy arched roof and Esso Oil affiliation. When his truck is repaired, he takes the only truck they have available as a loaner, which turns out to be his Transector.
Esso's Owner
The owner of the Esso garage is an old hand at trucks. When one is dead he'll say so, not charge for repairs that won't make a difference. His scrupulous honesty compells him to tell Ginrai that the last truck on the lot is rumored to be hainted, and several renters have returned it early as a result.
This doesn't stop Ginrai (who's wildly pleased with the truck) from feigning a lack of interest to get him to lower the price.
The bizare chain of events which caused Ginrai's Transector to end up in the Esso garage remains a mystery.
