John Turturro (born February 28, 1957) is an American actor. He is best known for his recurring appearances in films directed by Spike Lee and the Coen Brothers. He is also known for being urinated upon by giant robots and being Adrian Monk's brother, Ambrose.

  • Turturro based his portrayal of Simmons on director Michael Bay.
  • While filming, Turturro apparently started to weep while filming at the Great Pyramids. He was apparently overwhelmed with the beautiful structures, and how his career had brought him there.
