Should it really be disambiguiated as Prime? He's from the Generations line, which is all WFC/FOC designs... --Detour 01:50, 14 July 2012 (EDT)

Several of his components are already disambiguated as Prime due to being mentioned by Wheeljack. I just figured I'd follow that trend.--RosicrucianTalk 02:00, 14 July 2012 (EDT)
And for that matter, we have no indication that he's in the game so it'd be weird to give him that parenthetical after not appearing in the game.--RosicrucianTalk 02:04, 14 July 2012 (EDT)

Intro

It's not explicitly spelled out, but the standard has always been to talk about characters as though they're alive in their intros. G1wise, this is because characters may be dead or not at any given time in any given version of G1 continuity, but it should be extended to others for consistency. There are a few exceptions (Sentinel Prime's intro says he "was Optimus Prime's predecessor", but a) there's nothing else to say about him cross-franchise and b) "is Prime's predecessor" is a little odd) but even guys who first appeared as corpses (Hardcase, Playback) or who died immediately in their only appearances (Padlock, Fusion) subscribe to this. (The laundry list of dead G-named Autobots from TWW seems to be a notable exception.) -LV 16:19, 14 July 2012 (EDT)

Commandos

I really, really can't write off the fact that the four limbs have the same colour schemes as the four Commando limbs as some kind of coincidence, here. Xaaron's yellow, not orange - Ruination was orange. The Commandos homage is the only reason for there to be that much orange slathered across all these figures, instead of colouring them in the actual colours of the characters they're supposed to be. - Chris McFeely 21:16, 14 July 2012 (EDT)

I can see the homage on four of the five limbs. But there's little that suggests Impactor's carrying over Mega-Octane's colors. He has no green or gray, just orange and dark blue. --Detour 21:47, 14 July 2012 (EDT)
Ruination was gray. Or urine yellow. Not orange. --M Sipher 21:57, 14 July 2012 (EDT)
Ruination had a good amount of orange on him. Nowhere near as much as Ruination does thanks to Impactor, but each Combiner limb had its fair share of orange in its robot bits. --Detour 22:16, 14 July 2012 (EDT)
It's not as though the Wreckers aren't also in their own normal colors, plus a bunch of orange. I doubt very much that it's an intentional homage to someone the set isn't supposed to be and largely isn't decoed as, personally. I think it's orangey-gold to go with the Xaaron head. -LV 00:49, 15 July 2012 (EDT)
