Talk:Unknown Constructicon dump truck

I'm pretty sure he doesn't help form Devastator's leg. That leg is ENTIRELY green, just like Long Haul, and it only has four wheels. If this other dump truck were included, it'd have more than four wheels and some non-green parts. --ItsWalky 22:03, 3 November 2009 (EST)

Long Haul is the right leg. This guy is talking about the left leg, the one formed by Rampage. --Detour 22:34, 3 November 2009 (EST)

Move

If it matters, I'm 100% in favor of the proposed move. That's why I don't refer to him as Unknown Constructicon (Leg) in the article for easier post-move-editing -- The devious G1MarvelBlaster 21:40, 4 November 2009 (EST)

I'd like to suggest move the page to Unknown dump truck Constructicon or simply Dump truck Constructicon just like we got Buffalo MPV Decepticon (instead of "Unknown Buffalo MPV Decepticon" despite we got a Decepticon who transforms into a Buffalo MPV). Meanwhile, I also suggest move Unknown Constructicon shovel to (Unknown) Bulldozer Constructicon. --TX55TALK 21:34, 17 November 2009 (EST)

Actually...

Shouldn't we merge this dude with Long Haul? We don't give Skipjack Rampage two different pages for the red and yellow versions. —Interrobang 02:46, 5 November 2009 (EST)

I don't know. We should either merge the page with Long Haul or separate Skipjack into two page. Speak of which, IIRC, didn't HASBRO Q&A said, something like "Long Haul and Devie's Dump-car-Leg is same type of Transformers called Long Haul type Constructicon"?--TX55TALK 07:40, 5 November 2009 (EST)
I don't remember Hasbro saying that exactly. What they did say was "There are fictionally, more than one Decepticon with identical construction vehicle alternate modes. Fans should assume that the Mixmaster that go gutted by Jetfire is a different, non-related character to the cement mixer Decepticon component of Devastator." - Starfield 08:50, 5 November 2009 (EST)

He's not the same kind of dump truck that Long Haul is. He's a different vehicle. His bucket is much longer than Long Haul and the details aren't the same. --ItsWalky 15:56, 5 November 2009 (EST)

Isn't this the yellow Long Haul repaint?

I forget his name, but at least he now has a toy. ~Gearshift (logged out)

Has it been officially announced or released? I found a couple of news items on seibertron about Payload, but as far as I could tell, neither of them were official information. Though I guess if it hasn't already been announced, Hasbro will do so at the Toy Fair... --abates 17:58, 13 February 2010 (EST)
Sooo I guess this can be moved to "Payload (ROTF)" now? :) --abates 03:46, 14 February 2010 (EST)
I also think this one would be Payload now, as he got the right alt mode as Long Haul, which got yellow redeco => this is that redeco "Payload". V.Metalic 16:02, 18 February 2010 (EST)
The first note on "Unknown"'s page says his alt mode isn't the same as Long Haul's, which casts doubt on whether Payload is intended to be this character. A question for Hasbro in the next Q&A, maybe. --abates 16:43, 18 February 2010 (EST)
At the last Q&A in December, Hasbro didn't even aknowledge this character's existence, so there's very little chance Payload is intended to be this guy. Especially since its only role is to join Rampage in forming Devastator's leg. --Detour 16:52, 18 February 2010 (EST)
Well, my thought is that Hasbro didn't say "The yellow dump truck is Payload who will be coming out as a toy soon" because they wanted to reveal Payload as the Toy Fair. We may get a different answer now. --abates 17:34, 18 February 2010 (EST)
That's silly. The Constructicon Warrior from the ROTF games is more likely to be the source of inspiration than the different dump truck model that briefly shows up to form Devastator. --Detour 18:04, 18 February 2010 (EST)

Left leg

How do we know he formed the left leg and didn't just stay and watch from the cliff? Is it in the IMax version? - Starfield 16:57, 18 February 2010 (EST)

So, these days, do you just go randomly from page to page and try to find things to be incredibly obtuse about? Because this is #2 within the past 12 hours. --ItsWalky 17:01, 18 February 2010 (EST)
