Andrew Franks

Andrew Franks was a Hasbro product designer in Boys Design and Development from 2007 to 2012. He produced both decos and supplemental designs for mainline and exclusive Transformers products. After leaving Hasbro in 2012, he became Design Manager/Partner at the independent design firm Boss Fight Studio, though he has continued doing deco work for Hasbro on a freelance basis.

- Franks helped conceptualize the discount retailer assortments that included Legends Bumblebee, Megatron, Optimus Prime and Starscream, and the Mini-Cons Airlift, Brake-Neck, Drivetrain, Iron Claw, Pan-Handler and Swashplate. While this did not require doing decos, the latter did involve choosing the best molds that were still in reasonable condition.
- The 2012 discount retailer G.I. Joe figures were also some of Franks' work, and were something of a personal project for him. Boss Fight Studios, meanwhile, has contributed design work to the Fun Publications G.I. Joe Figure Subscription Service.
