Fumihiko Tachiki

Fumihiko Tachiki (立木 文彦 Tachiki Fumihiko) is a Japanese voice actor and narrator born April 29, 1961, in Nagasaki, Japan. Known for his low voice, he was originally a blues singer before taking up voice acting, rising to prominence in such roles as Kenpachi Zaraki in Bleach, Yūichi Kirisaki in Yakitate! Japan, Sloth in Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Shadowmaru of Brave Police J-Decker, Boss in Mazinkaiser, and of course, Gendo Ikari in Neon Genesis Evangelion. Fumihiko was also the narrator (and Gaia Memory voices in the latter) of Kamen Rider Kuuga and Kamen Rider Double. He is part of the musical group 2HEARTS alongside Toshiyuki Morikawa.
Roles
The Transformers
When "The Rebirth" was released in Japan in 1996, it was given the American The Transformers branding to differentiate it from the Japanese Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers continuity. Tachiki's performances are applicable only to "The Rebirth" episodes.
