Minimus Ambus
- Minimus Ambus is an Autobot from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Minimus Ambus, true to his name, is a tiny dude. This diminutive robot has always had big dreams, however, wishing to be the kind of venerated Autobot who holds the line against evil. Despite his small stature, Minimus Ambus is a Point One Percenter, with a specially-empowered Spark that makes him a load-bearer - capable of using body augmentations like the Magnus Armor.
He is part of the House of Ambus.
Fiction
IDW Generation 1 continuity
Minimus was serving as an Autobot soldier during the Great War when Chief Justice Tyrest selected him to wear the Magnus Armor and become an embodiment of the "immortal lawman" Ultra Magnus. He would play the role right up to the present day The Gloaming, though not without some apparent regrets. Cybertronian Homesick Blues
Ambus's career seemed about to come to an end when he was fatally wounded by Overlord, triggering the recall mechanism in the Magnus Armor and returning to Tyrest's headquarters on Luna One. There, Tyrest's doctors healed his injuries - but Tyrest also stripped him of his armor and his role, citing a nervous breakdown caused by the end of the war.
