YOU MAAAAAAAAADE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Windblade isn't much of a talker, much to the frustration of Nautica and Chromia who are under her command. She tends to get wrapped up in her duties, which she takes quite seriously.

[CHARACTERIZATION PENDING]

Windblade, Chromia, and Nautica had recently joined the crew of the Vis Vitalis when they crossed paths with Alpha Trion. Metroplex was in trouble, but Alpha Trion was otherwise occupied, and so the three volunteered to station up inside Metroplex to keep him alive. Eventually, a team of Autobots from the Lost Light arrived and were able to give Metroplex a jump from their ship, allowing them all to spacebridge back to Cybertron, where a battle between its inhabitants and the Necrotitan was taking place. Notes

The face of democracy.
  • Windblade is the first "fan-built bot" ever — the result of various polls on Hasbro's official website to determine her character and physical traits... well, most of her traits, as her Japanese motifs weren't an option in the poll and seem to be the work of the design team. In addition to getting a toy, she'll also get a special IDW mini-series written by Mairghread Scott and illustrated by Sarah Stone.
  • Her name works on many levels: "Wind Blade" is a real variety of industrial fan blade; she turns into a jet with VTOL turbofans; Hasbro designers had said they envisioned her coursing more energy into her sword blade through a spinning turbine fan in the hilt; and, of course, she was the fans' choice character.
