Hōchū Ōtsuka

Hōchū Ōtsuka (大塚芳忠 Ōtsuka Hōchū) is a veteran voice actor born May 19, 1954, in Okayama, Japan. On Transformers he was credited as Yoshitada Ōtsuka (大塚芳忠 Ōtsuka Yoshitada), his real name.

In the world of anime and video games, he may be best known as the voice of Melan Blue in Brigadoon, Imagin Deneb in Kamen Rider Den-O, Jiraya in Naruto, and Xigbar/Braig in the Kingdom Hearts series. In the world of dubbing, he has voiced Flint in G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero, McWolf in Tom & Jerry Kids and Megabyte in the Fuji TV dub of Reboot.

Notes

• Although Ōtsuka played Flint in the Japanese dub of the G.I. Joe cartoon, he did not voice the character for his brief cameo in the Transformers episode "The Killing Jar". There, Flint was voiced by Takurō Kitagawa.
