Akio Ōtsuka (大塚 明夫 Ohtsuka Akio) is a Japanese voice actor born November 24, 1959 in Tokyo. His gruff, manly voice has been utilized for a great number of characters, including Solid Snake in the Metal Gear Solid series, Batou in Ghost in the Shell, Anavel Gato in Mobile Suit Gundam 0083 and the titular surgeon of Black Jack.

He is much more active in the world of dubbing, having played Launchpad McQuack in DuckTales and Darkwing Duck, Yakko in Animaniacs, Ickis in Aaah! Real Monsters, Buster Bunny in Tiny Toon Adventures, Cobra Commander in G.I. Joe: The Movie, Droopy in all Tom & Jerry media since the 90s, Cranky Kong in the CGI Donkey Kong Country cartoon, Iron Will in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and is the current voice of Jose Carioca in all Disney media.

He is the son of voice actor Chikao Ōtsuka and was for a time married to voice actress Yōko Sōmi.
