Travel the world and the seven seas, everybody's looking for something.

The planet Eurythma is inhabited by an alien culture built entirely around music. Every aspect of the Eurythmans' lives, including their architecture, is related to music.

Like most alien worlds, it is largely covered by rocky terrain and forests.

Fiction

The Transformers cartoon

When the planet Eurythma was threatened by an incoming comet, Eurythmans Basso Profundo, Zebop Skandana, and Allegra used their destructive harmony to destroy it. However, as it happened, the comet was also at the center of a Decepticon plan, and its destruction caused a group of Autobots and Decepticons to crash to the planet. They resumed their conflict on the ground, however Galvatron and Soundwave split off from the main Decepticon force to track down the source of the harmonic weapon they'd heard.

After a visit to the capital city and eavesdropping on Basso, they paid a visit to Allegra and obtained her part of the harmony. They subsequently encountered a group of Autobots and Zebop who'd been following them, the latter of whom inadvertently provided them with the second part of the harmony. Galvatron and Soundwave returned to the city and devastated it, at the same time obtaining the third part of the harmony before leaving for Earth. Carnage in C-Minor

Notes

  • The Eurythmans and their planet were possibly named for '80s band The Eurythmics.
  • It appears to be perpetually night on Eurythma, suggesting that the planet has no nearby star.

Foreign names
