So many Rollbars
So, there are already three guys named "Rollbar" in the movieverse. Shouldn't them all be merged into just one? Or at least this one with the ROTF guy? They are so generics, they really don't need separate articles.--Fritz (talk) 21:40, 29 June 2014 (EDT)
- The other two have unique personalities, but we did the same thing with Crosshairs, so I don't see why not.Observedhalo (talk) 22:20, 5 July 2014 (EDT)
Rollbar's sole "appearance"
Should we write down the exploits of Shanes Sonic RS on this page? Rollbar is based on it.Observedhalo (talk) 22:22, 5 July 2014 (EDT)
- No. That car never became sentient. We don't list the tow truck's appearance in the film on Longarm's page, nor do we list the Sector 7 Escalandes' appearances on Stockade's page, and so forth. Just because a Transformer toy-only character borrows inspiration from a car seen in the film doesn't automatically make that Transformer that car. --Detour (talk) 02:21, 6 July 2014 (EDT)
- I see what you're saying, but we do list the Sector Seven assault buggy's appearance in the 2007 movie on Landmine's page.--DeathbotTheGreat (talk) 20:18, 31 August 2014 (EDT)
- Technically, shouldn't we list the Mike's towing truck's use in the first film for Longarm? I mean, RoS makes it clear that Longarm was the Allspark Mutation of that truck. Escargon (talk) 20:23, 31 August 2014 (EDT)
- Hmm, that film section on Landmine is indeed an odd-one-out. We need consistency, though, so that needs to be discussed and possibly changed. In the cases where characters are explicitly described as the on-screen vehicle brought to life, I wouldn't be 100% opposed to covering the vehicle's exploits, but it feels a little misrepresentative of what the film actually presents...
