Shockwave (Cloud)
| The name or term "Shockwave" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Shockwave (disambiguation). |
- Shockwave is a Decepticon from the Cloud continuity.
Cold and emotionless, Shockwave (ショックウェーブ Shokkuwēbu) believes only in logic. Whereas other Decepticons of Cloud World's Underground have selfish goals and ambitions of their own, Shockwave seeks only the most logical and efficient way of securing the continued existence of the space-time world for all eternity. Unfortunately for Cloud World, he has come to the conclusion that space-time can only be preserved through utter domination, and the best person to dominate it is Megatron.
Shockwave practices repeated self-modification, often remodeling his own body to improve his abilities, which has left him with a Triple Changer body armed with numerous weapons, most notably the powerful Astro Magnum on his left arm. This type of modification is excruciatingly painful and would be akin to torture to any other Transformer, but Shockwave calmly takes the pain and keeps taking himself apart without expressing any emotion whatsoever. After all, seeking to improve yourself is only logical.

- Accessories: "Astro Magnum" gun, rocket pod, rotary cannon, missile rack
- Shockwave is a redeco of Generations Whirl, transforming into a helicopter. As a Triple Changer he has a third Gerwalk-esque, called only an "alternate mode" to differentiate it from his "vehicle mode", plus an official "Shockblast" cannon mode created by messing around with this alternate mode. He has a pair of mechanical pincers which his "Astro Magnum" weapon can be fitted over and all four of his "Blast Arms" weapons can attach via c-clips to various sculpted rods. Shockwave was sold exclusively through e-HOBBY and came with the comic "TFC-D03".
Notes
- Shockwave's Astro Magnum weapon is named after 4 Changeable Astro Magnum, the toy used to make Generation 1 Shockwave. His Shockblast mode is named after Shockblast, the name Hasbro had to use when they couldn't secure the trademark for "Shockwave".
