Hot Rodimus and SARA set out on their journey throughout the Spacetime World.

Synopsis

In another, beautiful world, Hot Rodimus and SARA travel the roads of Japan, where SARA learns of the concept of the ocean. Rodimus wouldn't mind fishing in it, but SARA sternly reminds him that they're there to look out for energy and knowledge that she can absorb from this world, and a flustered Rodimus speeds to the nearby city.

Weeks ago, the Decepticons led by Shockwave attacked Metropolis, but were repelled by the Autobots. Hot Rodimus was injured in the process, but Ratchet gives him the clear on his health, to SARA's relief. Perceptor inquires as to the effect of SARA on Hot Rodimus's body, having granted it a third mode. Brawn asks why he didn't get it while Starscream and Hot Rodimus did, and SARA bluntly states that it's dangerous to rewrite a spark to hold a third form, but Rodimus was able to overcome this out of a desire to protect his friends. Hot Rodimus meets up with Ultra Magnus, who was also injured in Shockwave's attack and is hooked up to repair machinery. Magnus explains to Rodimus that Shockwave is a dangerous Decepticon with a "madly logical" mind who's constantly modified his body to the point where none of his original self remains. Shockwave, Ultra Magnus warns, will come after Hot Rodimus for interfering with his theft of SARA.

Hot Rodimus meets with Optimus Prime at the Autobot base, where the Supreme Commander explains that, to improve SARA's ability to maintain the Cloud World and the Spacetime World, she must journey throughout spacetime to attain power and knowledge. Optimus had hoped that they could wait till SARA was "older", but the Decepticon threat has made this need more urgent. As such, he has decided that, as SARA's closest friend, Hot Rodimus will accompany her. The red Autobot accepts.

Thus, one of their stops is in the 63-MF Spacetime, where SARA is wandering the human city in cover of a robe and hood to hide her true appearance. She is stopped by Lander, who asks if she wants to chat a bit. She's saved in the nick of time when Hot Rodimus shows up in car mode and honks for her to return to him. Ginrai express dismay that Lander was hitting on a girl, but Lander brushes it off, saying he was just polite. Driving around, Rodimus warns SARA to be careful around strangers. Internally, he's a bit tired of ferrying SARA around the Spacetime World, and is still surprised by the last spacetime they went to. Nevertheless, it's important for SARA and him to find energy across the spacetimes so that SARA can absorb it for her own use. SARA, still curious, decides she wants to walk around a bit more and immediately leaves the car.

Immersed in all the new sights of the city, SARA trips, but is caught just in time by a boy who introduces himself as Shūta Gō. He's joined by two friends: Minerva and Cab. Energized by the presence of new people, SARA immediately asks if they can become friends, which surprises, but amuses the trio. After introductions, the four stroll the city till they meet up with Lander and Ginrai, who remember the mysterious girl. Ginrai introduces himself and shakes hands with SARA, feeling a strange sensation as he does. Before he can ask, emergency vehicles dash past them, alerting them to a situation nearby. After telling SARA to head to safety, four of the five suddenly call upon the power of Masterforce, encasing themselves in metal suits and becoming Headmasters Junior and a Godmaster. Meanwhile, Lander reveals his true nature as a Pretender.

Shocked that her new friends are Transformers, SARA pleads Hot Rodimus follow this world's Autobots. In their transtectors, the Autobots arrive at the blazing skyscraper and rescue its unfortunate occupants. Unfortunately, they're unable to get to the people stuck at the higher levels, but a red helicopter flies in with a container. The Autobots on the ground can't make much through the smoke but they realize it must be a Transformer they don't know. They watch on as the people evacuate to the container and see SARA help contain a explosion with her powers. Ginrai recognizes it as Chōkon Power, the power of Godmasters. After setting down the container, Hot Rodimus and SARA speed away after SARA waves goodbye to her new friends, appreciative of the time they spent together. SARA has accomplished her mission in gathering this world's energy: Jinchōkon, the Chōkon Power of humanity.

Travelling through a dimension gate back to the spacetime travel facility, Hot Rodimus arrives, but is befuddled by the fact that the Gate isn't closing as it normally would. Perceptor calls in, trying to warn him of an intruder just as the doors burst open. Rodimus recognizes him immediately: Shockwave!

  • Hot Rodimus and SARA are said to go to the "63-MF Spacetime" (第63MF時空), the world designation of which aligns with the Super-God Masterforce cartoon. The spacetime's exact place in that show's chronology is hard to pin down, but is at least after "Ginrai: God On of Rage!!", where Ginrai formally joins the Autobots.
