Super Lifeform Transformers: Beast Wars Metals (超生命体トランスフォーマー ビーストウォーズメタルス Chō Seimeitai Transformer Beast Wars Metals) is a manga written and drawn by Shōji Imaki. It was published in Comic Bom Bom from November 1999 through April 2000, running simultaneously with the Japanese release of the second and third seasons of the Beast Wars TV series. It is noted for its radical redesign of many of the characters. It follows the Beast Wars II and Beast Wars Neo manga series and does not fit in with any part of the cartoon's continuity.

Availability

For once, the phrase "super deformed" is spot on.

For whatever reason, the Beast Wars Metals manga remains the only Beast Wars manga not to be collected and released in graphic novel format. With the cancellation of Comic Bom Bom in 2007, back issues have become highly sought after and difficult to obtain, even in Japan, making them a rare find for Westerners.
