CVO: Covert Vampiric Operations

[edit]

When the Elder Gods created a crack in their prison, Amanda attempted to communicate with other members of Oblivion to preserve the Relic. She was attacked by a gelatinous creature and saved in the nick of time by Bools of CVO. As the newly ascended leader of Oblivion ("as of seventeen minutes ago"), she ordered Bools to take her to the Coit Tower, where the Relic was stored. She explained to Bools the purpose of Oblivion and the Elder God's need for the Relic as the gelatinous entity crawled up the outside of the tower. Infestation 2 #1 Bools broke the Relic's glass cage and it immediately entered his mouth—Amanda forgot to mention that it needed a host.

Both were brought to Texas, where the Elder Gods were using Cross's artillica to open their prison. After Britt tore out his articillia-infused heart, Amanda combined it with the recently-puked-out Relic and tossed it into the Elder Gods' portal, but not before tentacles pulled her inside.
