Bob Versandi is a comic book artist. He studied cartooning at the School of Industrial Arts in Manhattan at the same time as Neal Adams, before getting work with Archie Comics.<ref name="Adams">Neal Adams interview</ref> While at Blackthorne, he worked on Transformers in 3-D and the graphic novel XL with Dennis Francis.<ref>Michigan State University Libraries Comic Art Collection "Verpiot" to "Verzyl"</ref> Outside of comics, he has worked as an advertising art director.<ref name="Adams" />
