Coelagon's signature attack most useful in close combat is Coelalock (シーラロック). It involves him biting down hard on his opponent and not letting go. In his old age, though, his teeth have long since been replaced by dentures and while the Coelalock remains powerful, it does not necessarily remain put.

In a trap set by the Seacons for the Lio Convoy Unit, Coelagon found Bighorn as his target. When the two charged at each other, Coelagon did so with his jaws open to clamp down on contact. He did, but his dentures didn't stay in his mouth and instead were left locked tight around Bighorn's scalp. Rather than being bothered by this demonstration of his body's aging, Coelagon couldn't stop laughing. Megastorm's Reckoning
