Following in the footsteps of the first four live action films, Transformers: The Last Knight had its explosively large advertising campaign.

Released May 17, 2016, the first teaser for the movie features a static image of Optimus Prime with Optimus Prime's voice in the background and a cut to the title logo.

TV Spots
[edit]- TV Spot #1 - Choose a Side [8]
The first TV spot for the film consists of brief shots of Optimus Prime, Megatron and Cade Yeager between the words "RETHINK YOUR HEROES", concluding with Optimus Prime subduing and beginning to stab Bumblebee and a cut to the title logo.
- TV Spot #2 - Keep Coming [9]
This TV spot begins with the text "ON JUNE 23", followed by shots of Optimus Prime drifting in space and Izabella running through a junkyard. More text, reading "TWO WORLDS COLLIDE", appears, followed by more shots of the disassembled Cybertron floating towards Earth, Cade turning around and an explosion. One final frame of dramatic text, reading "ONLY ONE SURVIVES", appears, and the shot of Optimus 'stabbing' Bumblebee plays again before the title logo cut.

- Behind the scenes of the United Kingdom set, Optimus tests the patience of a dialect coach who is annoyed as he doesn't even try to make a British accent.
- In Brazil, seven dubbed versions of that commercial (all featuring Guilherme Briggs as Optimus and Nádia Carvalho as the coach) have Optimus struggling to say regional slang from various Brazilian states.
- Hound and Josh [11]
- Hound does not understand how he is supposed to rehearse his lines with a tennis ball instead of the real Josh Duhamel.
- Maaco 'Transformers: The Last Knight' Commercial - Brad Decision [12]
- A woman spraypaints "Brad sucks" on Bumblebee thinking it is her boyfriend Brad's car. Bumblebee then transforms, much to her chagrin.
- Michael Bay directed this commercial to promote Transformers: The Last Knight starring Aimee Teegarden as Brad's girlfriend.
- Calvin Johnson Instagram commercial [13]
- Since retiring, Calvin Johnson has been continuously berated by the voice of Optimus Prime through his phone, doorbells, and even the drive-thru as the Autobot leader mistakes him for the other Megatron.
Toys

- Toy segment: Several shots of Optimus Prime's truck mode was shown, before it slowly transforms into robot mode by hand.
- Notes: Includes tail-end spot for the first waves of Deluxes & Voyagers.
- For eons, they have lived among you, hiding in plain sight, waiting to become, more than meets the eye.
- Knight Armor Turbo Changers [16] (20-second version) [17] (15-second version) [18] (6-second version)
- Narration: Some guy that sounds like Sir Edmond.
- Toy segment: Knight Armor Turbo Changer Optimus Prime toy being transformed into robot by a kid. The battle mask gimmick was later shown in the tail-end of the commercial.
- Kidmation: A blonde kid looks at a statue before he transforms a Knight Armor Turbo Changer Optimus Prime toy. And then, the kid imagines himself in a medieval battle field, and sees the arrival of Optimus Prime, and raises his toy and shouts "Knight Armor!" and Optimus Prime converts his Battle Mask.

- Toy segment: Megatron and Barricade being crashed by puny Enterprise toy cars, and Optimus Prime beating down Berserker.
- Kidmation: An African-American kid saying "How do you like that Customer Service, Megatron?" while he topples Megatron with a car, And a blonde kid saying "You just got sold!" while crashing his car to poor, poor Barricade. Later, the kids gave a "whoa!" and high fives to each other.
- The Decepticons are back, and the Autobots need help...from Enterprise!
