The Confederated Terran Colonial Fleet (CTCF) is the military arm of the Human Confederacy. Their vessels tend to have a four-person complement: a biological, a circuit-enhanced, a psychal, and an A.I.

Beast Wars: Uprising

The Fleet was the successor to the Earth Defense Command, formed in 45 SCA (Stellar Cycle of the Ark) or 2029 by the Gregorian calendar. Two years later, they would violently force an armistice on the Transformers in response to the Scouring of Nebulos, restricting the Great War to Cybertron and nine colony planets, a region of space known as the Allowed Zone. When Galvatron tested their resolve in in 2033 with the Great Push, the CTCF obliterated the Decepticon fleet and forced the Transformers to surrender five of their planets.

Among the many technological developments utilized by the CTCF were the "Second-Born Intellects"—artificial intelligences derived from reverse-engineered Cybertronian technology. They did not identify as either male or female, but considered themselves somewhere between these two genders. Ask Vector Prime, 2015/05/23

During the Grand Uprising, the Monster GoBots attempted to bait the CTCF, via a staged recording that happened to feature the Rosetta Stone as a notable prop, to land on Cybertron so they could steal their hyper-advanced technology. Though the Ex-Bots defeated the invaders, the CTCF did send envoys to Cybertron who recovered the Rosetta Stone. Cultural Appropriation

By the 25th century, the CTCF would eventually be weakened by internal divisions between the Celestials and Traditionalists, to the point where one of their ships could credibly be threatened by eight Shi-Lai vessels. The Inexorable March

A somewhat shoddy historian, writing some ten thousand years in the future, had reason to believe that the factional divisions had caused the once great Terran Empire to collapse in on itself, leading to a new dark age for the species known as the Fall of Man or the saeculum obscurum. Notes

• The CTCF's name may be a casual reference to the Terran Confederacy's Colonial Fleet from StarCraft. As can be easily gleamed from the uniforms, much of their culture and attitudes pay tribute to the 24th century iteration of Starfleet from Star Trek: The Next Generation.
