Arcee was apparently a comatose patient at the Cybertron Central Infirmary for millions of stellar cycles, This Is Why I Hate Machines The Return of Blurr after her mind was inadvertently wiped by Ratchet, The Thrill of the Hunt and her processor was dissected by the Ministry of Science in an attempt to retrieve the activation codes for Omega Supreme. Far later, Ultra Magnus was critically injured by the Decepticon double-agent Shockwave Where Is Thy Sting?, and was left on spark support Decepticon Air in the Infirmary. This Is Why I Hate Machines

Shockwave later sought out Arcee, in an effort to restore and retrieve the activation codes to wipe and reboot Omega Supreme as a Decepticon. Ratchet followed, and although his and Captain Fanzone's efforts to get the access codes from Rattletrap failed, Jazz supplied them, and they entered and found Arcee. Shockwave, however, found them, and Ratchet fought the Decepticon spy through the hospital, until they reached the room where Ultra Magnus lay. While Ratchet saved his Magnus from death at Shockwave's hands and retrieved the Magnus Hammer, the interference of Sentinel Prime meant the Decepticon was able to blow holes in the walls, floors and roof of the infirmary to escape with Arcee.
