Dave Morris (born March 19, 1957 in Buckinghamshire) is a British author. He once met a Dalek, when his father took him to the BBC workshops in 1964. After obtaining an M.A. in Physics from Oxford University, he promptly opted to turn to writing. Much of his work is in role-playing games and gamebooks—he even co-created an RPG system called Dragon Warriors with Oliver Johnson. He also wrote a number of tie-in novels for the likes of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, ReBoot, Knightmare, Captain Scarlet, Thunderbirds and HeroQuest. If that's not all, he has substantial experience designing video games, and writes comics. Morris currently writes the independent comic Mirabilis.
