In prehistoric times, Blurr and Salvage crashed their ship on Wayward Island. They managed to save a tribe that was living there from a meteor shower, however they themselves ended up in stasis in their ship, stuck within a cave, and one caveman also became frozen in ice. The New Recruits

Long ago, Vikings visited the island. Believing that griffins roosted there, they built elaborate temples and carvings to honor the mythical beast. In Search of the Griffin's Nest

A meteor crashed on Wayward Island, drawing the Burns family, the Rescue Bots, and Bumblebee there. With Blades and Dani Burns spotting from the air, they located the meteorite and extinguished the fires it had started, before deeming it safe. Unfortunately the meteorite had brought a virus that affected Transformers, and the Burnses and Bumblebee returned to the island to get a sample and destroy the meteorite so it couldn't be exploited by evil doers. Blades and Bumblebee successfully used a bomb to blow the meteorite up, albeit while exposing themselves to infection. Bumblebee to the Rescue

The Sky Forest was relocated to Wayward Island after some unpleasant experiences at the hands of its foliage. Sky Forest

An earthquake sensor became dislodged during a quake and landed on a large lodestone. Its repeated overloading caused the lodestone to become a super-magnet, drawing metal objects from as far away as Griffin Rock. Graham, Cody and the Rescue Bots visited the island to investigate, and found the Viking ruins and lodestones. In Search of the Griffin's Nest

A sinkhole opened in the island, leading to a large underground cavern inhabited by dinosaurs and other assorted prehistoric beasts. Several specimens and their young came to the surface where they became separated. A pterodactyl attracted the attention of the Griffin Rock rescue team, however when they tried to approach the dinosaurs, they were chased into a pit of tar which had bubbled up from underground. Optimus Prime came to their aid, helping the dinosaurs return underground, and the sinkhole was filled in. Land Before Prime

After a faint energon signal led the rescue team to the island, they found the frozen caveman and defrosted him. When he failed to adapt to modern life on Griffin Rock, they were forced to return him to Wayward Island to live in the wilderness. The lost Autobot ship remained frozen in ice. Did You See What I Thaw?

On a return visit to the island to check earthquake sensors, Graham, Cody, and Frankie stumbled on the lost Autobot ship, and Blurr and Salvage were successfully revived. The New Recruits

The dinosaurs living beneath the island eventually migrated to the surface, prompting the island to be renamed to "Dino Island". Grimlock took the Rescue Bot recruits, sans Hoist, on a field trip to the island to study the local fauna. Upon their arrival, a triceratops charged through their GroundBridge, damaging the controls on the other side and leaving them stranded. Rushing to return to the Rescue Bot Training Academy and help Hoist contain the rampaging dinosaur, the recruits used logs from the island as water skis so Whirl could tow Grimlock back while Hot Shot, Wedge and Medix drove underwater. The Dinobots called the recruits to the island to help with a butte that was in danger of falling onto the island's last red bank fig tree. They successfully saved the tree. Bot Blog
