The dragon-headed cape (竜の首の形の岬 ryū no kubi no katachi no misaki) is a crag in the Sea Continent of Gaia that resembles the head and the elongated neck of a dragon. It is made from a strange type of stone that has all the signs of being a regular damage-resistant solid rock except that it floats, even if multiple Transformers are standing on top of it.

The Seacons chose the dragon-headed cape as the location of a trap for as many Maximals as they could get. Utilizing Bighorn's feelings for Scylla, they sent him a love letter telling him to meet her at the cape shaped like a dragon's head and for good measure built a doll of Scylla to await him. Bighorn did as told, followed closely by a concerned Tasmania Kid, and just like that they were right where Sea Phantom needed them to be. Using his razorsharp dorsal fin and determination, he broke the dragon's head Bighorn and Tasmania Kid were standing on off from the dragon's neck. The rock was set adrift, confining the two Maximals' to the Seacons' marine home ground. Scuba and Diver tried to return them to shore, but were attacked, and the later help from Lio Convoy and Apache made no difference either, the result being that all six members of the Lio Convoy Unit got stuck on the dragon's head with salt water eroding their machinery. The Seacons combined into God Neptune and used God Split to cut apart the Maximals' stone raft, leaving them stuck on such a tiny rock that a next God Split would hit them. But due to Moon's meddling, Bigmos and Tonbot arrived just in time to lend their flight to Lio Convoy so he could break apart the combiner with Lion Typhoon. All eight made their way to shore and talked the day's events over next to the now headless cape. Showdown in the Sea
