We can all recognize Prime, but who is that other guy? Is that supposed to be Blitzwing's "Random" face?

Halloween is an Earth holiday in which humans dress up in strange outfits that make them look like other people or things, then demand sugary offerings from their neighbors. It is usually celebrated on October 31, and is a ritual to celebrate the end of Summer which started in Ireland many centuries ago, though it has evolved significantly since then.

So, the purpose of this "Halloween" is to disguise yourself in order to frighten strangers and extort sugar infused... nuggets.{{#if:|{{{quote2}}}}}{{#if:Optimus Prime contemplates the true meaning of Halloween"Along Came a Spider"|Optimus Prime contemplates the true meaning of Halloween{{#if:"Along Came a Spider"|, "Along Came a Spider"|}}|}}

Legends anthology

[edit]

Carlos, Rad and Alexis attempted to explain Halloween to their Mini-Con friends, and ended up resorting to taking the trio Trick-or-Treating with them. The Mini-Cons were confused by the human custom, and the way that Rad explained that they could "t.p." houses which didn't give out candy, but soon got into the spirit of the holiday. As a mark of their veneration of their human friends, the Mini-Cons took the tradition back to Cybertron with them, and thousands of years later, the Mini-Cons still went out Trick-or-Treating on Halloween. Due to Griffin Rock's prohibitively cold climate in late October, the residents instead celebrated "Earliween", a Halloween analogue that took place during warmer months so that the children could freely show off their costumes. One particular Earliween ended with all of Griffin Rock filming an alien invasion hoax video in order to maintain the Rescue Bots' secrecy from the rest of the world. Ghost in the Machine

Cody Burns taught the Rescue Bot recruits about Halloween and its many traditions culminating in a trip to Milford for trick-or-treating. Thanks to everyone being in costume, the recruits were able to freely walk the streets without arousing suspicion, though Wedge opted to wear a homemade Bumblebee costume. The night went well until an accident caused the candle from a jack-o'-lantern to set a house on fire, and the team worked together to save the occupants and put out the blaze. Upon their return to the Training Academy, Heatwave congratulated them before using Tough Luck Chuck in a ghost costume to spook the recruits. Trick or Treat

BotBots cartoon

[edit]

One night while playing in the mall, the Lost Bots discovered Spector Halloween had appeared occupying a previous empty store. Dave was browsing through the store to find the perfect costume, as he had lost the mall's annual costume contest the previous year. Seeing Dave exit dressed in a werewolf costume scared them away, hoping it would disappear the next night. Instead, the Lost Bots found Spector Halloween now occupied the neighboring shops as well. While all the the squads in the mall gathered in the food court to debate what to do about the spreading Halloween stores, Kikmee came up with a plan: If they defeat the boss, a giant spider displayed in the back of the store, then Spector Halloween should disappear. Journeying into the store, they encountered Dave with a ghoul mask stuck on his head. After accidentally being blinded by Dimlit, Dave stumbled into the spider and fell on top of it, and the Lost Bots fled. Later, Dave attended the Halloween party, having to leave early to have the ghoul mask removed, though he was given a participation trophy for his trouble. The next night, the BotBots found Spector Halloween gone, replaced by a new store instead. Spirit of Halloween

”Wazzpinator want candy.”
For a brief time, Hasbro's official website checklist featured listings for two "Halloween Horrorcon Value Packs" that were to be Wal-Mart exclusives... which also likely explains why they were canceled. (Wal-Mart had taken a good half-dozen exclusives and released them more-or-less simultaneously, leading to a huge glut. A lot of other Transformers exclusives were canceled during the Universe era.)
Waspinator was a redeco of Beast Wars Transmetal Waspinator with opaque-salmon wings and lavender insect legs. He was to come with Nightprowler, a blue and yellow redeco of the original Cheetor toy.
