Enemy of My Enemy (RID)/cameo gallery

The Robots in Disguise episode "Enemy of My Enemy" features a gallery of seventy Autobots, all described as blacklisted by the Autobot High Council for associating with Optimus Prime. Included are the complete heroic casts of Robots in Disguise, Transformers: Prime, and Rescue Bots, along with many other characters.

With the exception of two 'bots (an original character named Tuneup, and The Headmasters character Ricochet), all the other robots appearing in this gallery are drawn from the first three years of the Generation 1 cartoon (including non-toy guest characters created for the show). The aim appears to be to include a near-complete roster of regular "humanoid" cast members of the show, and it gets darn close. Each character's name is written on their profile card in "Decepticon Graffiti" font (though most are too small to read), and their Tech Specs (pulled straight from the Generation 1 characters' where applicable) run across the bottom of each card as a bar graph. Through a combination of the character illustrations, these coded names, and Tech Specs, we've been able to identify everyone.

Notes

[edit]
  • Several Autobots have different designs compared to their earlier appearances in the "Aligned" continuity.
    • Smokescreen is drawn to better resemble his Generation 1 counterpart, versus how he appeared in Prime.
    • Tailgate previously appeared in Prime as a recolor of Cliffjumper, but is here drawn to resemble his Generation 1 counterpart. This design is also recolored as Windcharger.
    • Arcee's appearance has been slightly modified with elements of her Generation 1 counterpart.
    • Bluestreak previously appeared in the Prime toyline in "Diaclone blue" colors, but is here drawn in the black and grey of his Generation 1 counterpart. This design is also recolored as Prowl.
    • Fallback previously appeared in the Prime toyline as a redeco of Prime Breakdown, but is here drawn to resemble his Generation 1 counterpart.
    • Firestar's design is a recolor of Moonracer's.
    • Swerve previously appeared in the Prime toyline as a redeco of Prime Breakdown, but is here drawn to resemble his Generation 1 counterpart. This design is also recolored as Gears, with a different head.
    • Red Alert is a retooling of Sideswipe's Cybertronian design with a new head and shoulder cannon.
    • Hoist is recolor of Trailbreaker with a modified head and new shoulder-fins.
