Fortress-building saucer

"Fortress-building saucers" are autonomous machines used by the Predacons to build Angolmois Energy-collecting fortresses. They look like flying saucers while in motion and once they've found a spot suitable to begin the extraction process from, tentacles extend from the bottom to gather resources and start the building process.

To overwhelm the six members of the Lio Convoy Unit, Megastorm unleashed swarms of fortress-building saucers on Gaia to build Angolmois Energy-collecting fortresses en masse. It worked insofar that after a hard day's work of destroying as many saucers as they could, the Maximals had to return to the Yukikaze to recuperate while fortresses were still being built, but it didn't discourage the Maximals from returning to continue the battle. Notes

• The fortress-building saucers are referred to in "Galvatron Revived" as "small spaceships" (小さな宇宙船 chīsana uchūsen) and "miniature spaceships" (小型宇宙船 kogata uchūsen).
• The Predacons only explicitly use the fortress-building saucers once, but in "The Black Lio Convoy", the Maximals are worried about the many fortresses the Predacons have built or are building. The map they're looking at shows twenty-five locations and with the Predacons only counting ten soldiers, there is an implication the fortress-building saucers are still in use.
