In an alternate timeline, the Functionist Council had unseated the Senate and gone on to become the sole rulers of Cybertron. In the present day, Two-of-Twelve attended a meeting of the Council at the Cog where the Enactor Six-of-Twelve reported that he had consulted with their theoconomists over recalling the data slugs from the Grand Cybertronian Taxonomy and the Evaluator Ten-of-Twelve reported that by replacing the Primal Vanguard's eyes with cameras, they had successfully been converted into the first of the Council's total surveillance agents. When it was discovered that Rung possessed the ability to produce photonic crystals, the Council had a meeting where Six-of-Twelve decided realized that Rung was Primus endorsing cold construction. The Council opted to use Rung to produce a new Cybertronian army to conquer the galaxy and travelled to Vector Sigma to acquire the sparks they needed. Before they could begin collecting sparks however, Rung was rescued by Team Rodimus. Before teleporting out, Rung mocked that the Key to Vector Sigma, the collective alternate mode of the Functionist Council, was useless calling them all the "Useless Ones". Modes of Production
