Fusion (RPG)
| The name or term "Fusion" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Fusion (disambiguation). |

- Fusion is a Decepticon from the Transformers Roleplaying Game portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
The experimental drone code-named Fusion is the end product of an unholy alliance between the Decepticons and Cobra: although it runs on the same software used to program Cobra's B.A.T. robots, that processing power is instead hooked into a massive transforming body cast in Megatron's likeness, including an artificial T-cog that lets Fusion transform into a H.I.S.S. tank.

[edit]Fusion was created as a joint project between the forces of Cobra and a select group of Decepticons led by Megatron, who hoped to create a back-up body he could inhabit in case he suffered irreparable damage. The project began when Swindle traded Megatron's schematics to the Baroness in exchange for energon; actual construction was carried out by Techno-Vipers in a secret cybernetics facility located beneath the Pyrenees in southern France, overseen by the Decepticon Seeker Avia. All proceeded well for several months until the Autobots Bulkhead, Minerva, and Bumblebee crashed a meeting between the villains; after making contact with the local G.I. Joe forces, the heroes quickly captured Chameleon and learned of Fusion's existence. Using this intel, the heroes invaded The Joint and attempted to put down Fusion once and for all. Cobra/Con Fusion

- Megatron H.I.S.S. Tank and Baroness (2022)
- Accessories: Baroness, backpack, rifle, battle stand, fusion cannon, 2x turret guns, HISS tank rear panel/shield
- Known designers: Evan Brooks (Hasbro), Shuhei Umezu (TakaraTomy)
- The tenth figure released in the Collaborative line, "Megatron H.I.S.S. Tank" transforms from an almost 100% accurate Cobra signature original H.I.S.S. tank into a roughly Commander Class-sized Megatron. He comes with his traditional fusion cannon accessory and has a swiveling twin turret backpack, whose guns can be lowered down to tilt over Megatron's head or turn left or right. Both turret guns are attached via 5mm pegs and features pegs for fire blast effects. Megatron's fusion cannon can either mount atop his H.I.S.S. form's turret platform or on the outside of either fist.
- His hips are ratchet joints, but the rest are all simple friction joints, including his lateral thigh swivels, which when combined with the weight of half the vehicle mode hanging off his back means that he's prone to tipping over in certain poses. Megatron's sizeable heel spurs do a lot to alleviate the problem, thankfully. The back plating and rear guard of the H.I.S.S. detaches to form a shield. The back of his fusion cannon is severely truncated to clear the H.I.S.S. parts on his shoulders or the turret gunner in vehicle mode, which looks more than a little silly. Said cannon and shield both attach via fairly shallow 5mm pegs. Due to packaging constraints, most of the H.I.S.S. tank is detached from Megatron in the box, with only the treads and lower part of the cockpit built into the main figure. Megatron is also a considerably warmer gray than depicted in his stock renders.
- The set also includes a new recreated original 3.75" Baroness figure, with recreations of her accessories as well as a battle stand, who can ride in Megatron's H.I.S.S. mode cockpit or man his turret guns. Rather impressively, Megatron can be transformed entirely without removing the figure from the turret, though the same can't be said for the one in the cockpit.
