Giant Fujiwara

Giant Fujiwara is a Headmaster robot from an undetermined universe.

It's a science!

Controlled by the twin Headmasters Hamada Robohead and Matsumoto Robohead, the Transtector known as Giant Fujiwara (巨人藤原 Kyojin Fujiwara) hails from the Gaasuu Kurobikari Science Laboratory. In head mode, Giant Fujiwara is capable of taking control of massive Titans like Fortress Maximus.

Which... probably should not be allowed to happen, for all our sakes.

Transformers / Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende!!

• Transformer Hamada Robo ~Donarimasu~ & Transformer Matsumoto Robo ~Guchirimasu~ (2018)

Giant Fujiwara is a retooling of the Titans Return Cerebros toy, transforming from a headless robot into a large head compatible with the Titans Return Fortress Maximus mold. He retains the light-and-sound gimmick of Cerebros, including the transformation noise when the face shield is raised and lowered, but all the other sounds have been replaced with new audio clips. These clips change depending on the mode the toy is in.

Giant Fujiwara's Head Mode clips:

• ("Out" music sting) "Hamada! Out!"
• ("Out" music sting) "Matsumoto! Out!"
• ("Out" music sting) "Matsumoto! Hamada! Out!"
• ("Out" music sting) "Zen'in! Out!" (全員 zen'in, "everyone")
• "Transforrrrm!"
• "Transform ya de!" (やで ya de is a Kansai-dialect particle used to stress emphasis)

The set also includes two small Headmasters for use with the body, Hamada Robohead and Matsumoto Robohead. Like Cerebros, Giant Fujiwara does not actually need either of these heads for his Head Mode to function.

This set was a special mail-away offer available with purchase of the 2017 DVD/Blu-Ray of the [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende!!|{{#if:||Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende!!}}]] ("Downtown's We're Not Errand Boys!!") "24 Hours No Laughing Doctor of Science" special, which the set's deco is based on. Orders had to be sent in by January 31 2018, and the set was mailed out in July that year.

This mold was also used to make Legends Fortress and Grand.

Notes

• Giant Fujiwara is based on Hiroshi Fujiwara, the former manager of the incredibly popular Japanese comedy duo [[wikipedia:{{#if:|:}}Downtown (owarai)|{{#if:Downtown|Downtown|Downtown (owarai)}}]], who still appears on their programs regularly. He is not a comedian or an actor, and therefore a lot of humor is milked from his incredible failure at comedy and acting, and blown lines, and general ineptitude as a performer. The toy's large gurning face is a caricature of Fujiwara.
• The "Gaasuu Kurobikari Science Laboratory" text and logos on the toy is part of a long-running gag on Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende!!, poking fun at chief producer (and frequent "performer") Kenji Suga. "Gaasuu" is Suga's surname flipped, and "kurobikari" means "black luster", a jab at his darker-than-usual skin tone and somewhat oily complexion. The name is applied to any number of fake business and places.
• In the year-end "24 Hours No Laughing" batsu game (罰ゲーム, lit. "punishment game") specials, the musical stings heard on this toy play when one of the performers laughs; they are then declared "Out!", and promptly whacked on the butt. That does not remove them from the game. Oh no. There will be many more whackings. So many more.
