Snarl is an Autobot from Cyberworld.
Diruto, son of Boruto, son of Naruto.

Snarl is quite the scrapper. Though he's definitely the smarter and more patient of the two Dinobots trapped in the mysterious Cyberworld, he still defers to the larger and more impulsive Grimlock as they eke out an existence in the digital jungle. His proficiency and creativity with a sword should not be underestimated.

Snarl, alongside fellow Dinobot Grimlock, were the first to see a crate drop in the Jungle are of Cyberworld, with Grimlock noting that they hadn't seen one in forever. After some mild contemplation, Grimlock headed the charge towards the crate drop, with Snarl running alongside him to the drop- unaware that two eavesdroppers were listening in on their conversation.

GOTTA GO FAST! GOTTA GO FAST! GOTTA GO FASTER FASTER, FA-FA-FA-FA-FASTER!

Finding the Crate Drop, Snarl and Grimlock walked in on Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. Following Grimlock once more, the two attacked Optimus and his "little friend", Snarl riding Grimlock into battle until his legs were caught by a vine Optimus threw, leading to Snarl jumping off of his compatriot to attack Bumblebee with his sword. Bumblebee was found to be too quick to hit, and, when enraged, Snarl leaped up into the air to strike down his opponent- which was then interrupted by Optimus Prime, ramming into him with his truck form. Sent flying back, Snarl regained his footing and telling Grimlock to give him a hand, which the large Dinobot took literally, transforming into his robot form so he and Snarl could attack Optimus Prime together. Facing small rocks being thrown by Bumblebee upon the surrounding mountain, Grimlock threw Snarl up at the yellow opponent with his strong Dino-hand, allowing for Snarl to take Bumblebee off of the cliff-edge to face him head-to-head, chasing after the yellow fellow with his sword in-hand. Confident in being able to perform a killing blow, Snarl remarked on Bumblebee and Optimus' disharmony- though his own harmony with Grimlock proved to slow him down by a fair margin, with Bumblebee and Optimus fooling the duo into getting stuck in the mud. In a desperate race for the crate, Grimlock and Snarl utilized a nearby steam spout to rocket their way up the mountain, with the duo transforming into their Dino modes to attack. Unfortunately, Bumblebee reached the crate, giving Optimus and his little yellow friend ample firepower to fend off the Dinobots. Frustrated and tired, Grimlock and Snarl stormed off, with Grimlock giving the Autobots a warning to stay out of his and Snarl's way. Crate Point, Well Fought

Snarl found himself in Starscream's City while following the Autobots, recording Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Elita and Mirage looking at the Tech Specs of Scorponok. Screamer City Arena

Snarl even saw Swoop's loooooooooooong legs. They go on for miiiiiiiiiiiiiiles.

With Optimus Prime and his Autobots searching from Grimlock, Snarl was their best lead towards finding the big guy. Stalking him in the forest, the Autobots unknowingly fell for a trap the Dinobots had laid down, with all three of them being caught in a net. Grimlock, speaking from the shadows, revealed that he knew what Optimus Prime and his Autobots were after, having a recording of the Autobots finding Scorponok's tech specs in Starscream's city. Commenting on how weird this recording was, Bumblebee was horrified at the implication that Snarl had seen everything the group was doing. Giving Bumblebee a long, dark stare, his fears were confirmed. Snarl sees all.

Breaking free from the Dinobots' trap, Optimus challenged Grimlock to a game of Hunter VS Hunted, pledging that, if he were to lose, the Dinobots would have their undying loyalty. Confident in his chances, Grimlock joined the game, leaving Bumblebee, Elita, and Snarl to commentate over the match. Snarl remarked on Grimlock's tactical genius, confident that he would win the game—though his dreams were crushed when Optimus managed to come out on top. Grimlock, respecting Optimus' ingenuity, joined his group of Autobots—though Snarl had doubts, with this alliance potentially having dire consequences for the rest of Cyberworld—a mysterious truce now being broken because of it. Snarl slinked away into the forest, with no confidence in Grimlock's plan. Hunter vs Hunted

Snarl returned to save Optimus and Grimlock from the hands of Scorponok when it looked like he was going to kill them and left along with Grimlock after the latter came to the conclusion that Prime was not a worthy leader. Storm the Desert

  • Dinobot Snarl (Cyber Changer, 2025)
  • Environment: Jungle
  • Accessories: Tail-sword
Released in the first wave of Cyberworld Cyber Changers, Snarl is a Junkion-themed robot who transforms into a robotic Stegosaurus in 4 steps. His dino tail detaches to become a hand-held sword/club/hitty-thing and his beast mode mouth features a movable lower jaw (with sculpted tongue!). Snarl as a 5 mm port on each arm and two on his back, alongside a 3 mm port for a flight stand. You can store his tail on his back but it has to stick straight out like, well, a tail.
As appears standard for Cyberworld figures, he has limited articulation with ball-jointed shoulders, hips and hinged knees, and is designed to fit into sections of the larger toys (like Grimlock), riding them and interacting with their gimmicks.
Snarl shares his transformation scheme with his wavemates Megatron and Armored Cyber Changer Galvatron.

Notes

[edit]
  • At various points in the Cyberworld cartoon, Snarl does that "ninja run" thing where his torso leans forward and his arms go straight back.
