As a child, Corporal Scott "Hit and Run" Brent was orphaned by a drunk driver. He was sent off to the county orphanage, which he would escape from at his leisure despite the difficult nature of doing so. This proved to be perfect training, as upon leaving the orphanage he immediately joined the military, and from there the Joe team.

Hit and Run was among the Joes holed up in a new Pit on Cybertron after the apparent destruction of Earth. He complained that there were too many men and not enough women in their final refuge of humanity. Earth: R.I.P.
