[edit]On the fateful night of October 26, 1985, Marty drove the inaugural run of a DeLorean time machine while evading the Libyan terrorists from whom his scientist friend Doc Brown had stole plutonium to power the time machine. Marty successfully ventured to 1955 and back, unwittingly while being surveilled by the hostile aliens Rumble and Ravage. Marty retired to his home for the night while Doc conducted his own temporal journey to 2015. When Marty woke up in his house the next day, he was stunned to find that history had inexplicably changed, with the Decepticons having conquered Earth and converted Hill Valley into a slave labor camp. Disregarding his parents' warning to keep his head down, Marty defiantly tried to attack Starscream, to no avail. Now getting chased by the more-powerful Decepticon officer, Marty tried to make a getaway on an incidental skateboard. Suddenly, the DeLorean reappeared; at first Marty assumed Doc Brown had come to rescue him, but the DeLorean itself transformed to reveal the Autobot Gigawatt! Transformers/Back to the Future #1
Marty's panic at the new robot gave Starscream the chance to recover. When Marty hurled the board at the Decepticon, it revealed itself to be the Autobot Skilz who used the shock to down Starscream. Before he could recover, Marty and Skilz entered Gigawatt, travelling to the Delgado Mine in 2015. Meeting the Autobot resistance, Marty was brought up to speed on how the Decepticons had used Doc Brown's time travel technology to conquer Earth and Gigawatt's defection. When asked though, Marty told the Autobots that only Doc Brown had the expertise needed to repair Gigawatt's broken flux capacitor. Transformers/Back to the Future #2
Soon afterwards, a distress call from Doc Brown came in. Rolling out, the Autobots and Marty found Brown and Marty's parents set to be executed by Biff Tannen, Starscream and the Constructicons. Grabbing a pipe as a weapon, Marty impulsively tackled down Biff, giving the Autobots an opening to attack. After being thrown Doc's alpha-wave ionic nullifier, Marty boarded Skilz, since having scanned a hover sled, and turned the nullifier on the Constructicons, disabling them. After Marty reunited with his now aged parents, the courthouse transformed, revealing itself to be the Decepticon Watchtower. Transformers/Back to the Future #3
At Rodimus' order, Marty led the humans away from the giant. Though Doc desired to fight, Marty informed him of Gigawatt's damaged flux capacitor which Brown quickly repaired. At that moment, Watchtower took aim at the two humans, being saved by Gigawatt, though at the cost of him being too damaged to reach eighty-eight miles per hour. While Rodimus fought a delaying action, Doc and Skilz physically pushed Gigawatt to the required velocity, sending the turncoat and Marty back to 1984.
Arriving before Rumble, Marty and Gigawatt activated the Autobots within the Ark. Taking position to ambush the Decepticon and reclaim the original time machine, Gigawatt rammed the arriving DeLorean but in his damaged state, he was quickly disabled by the Decepticon. After Rumble was defeated, Optimus Prime assured Marty that he had done well and that the Autobots would help Gigawatt. Agreeing, Marty took the DeLorean back to 2015.
Returning to 2015, Marty was met by the Autobots, now counting a repaired Gigawatt among their ranks, and discovering that Biff was a close ally to the Autobots. With history restored, Gigawatt took Marty back to his native 1985. Discovering that his time travel had resulted in his parents being much more financially successful, Marty eagerly climbed into the new pickup truck they'd bought him... missing the Decepticon emblem on its grill.
